一般来说，申请过程中我们常规需要准备的文书材料有简历（CV）、推荐信（RL）和个人陈述（PS）。
但是除去这必备三样之外，很多专业也对申请者提出了更多的要求。今天Mastermate就来为大家盘点一些需要提前准备更多材料的专业。
值得注意的是很多专业在申请时都会有提交诸如cover sheet 或者 Score Calculation Template，我们暂不做盘点，因为此类材料都需要网申开始后才可下载填写，无法提前准备。
因为篇幅有限，今天的盘点会挑一些大家常常申请的专业举例子，同学们如果想看其他专业的情况，可以关注Mastermate官网或小程序“留学大师Mastermate”，里面的信息非常全面哦！
总的来说，需要提交更多材料的专业类别主要有三种：
第一类是文科类专业
部分文学类专业需要提交written sample；这类一般要求不是特别高，主要是想看下基本的写作能力或研究能力，可以修改下之前写过的课程作业进行提交。
还有像是南洋理工大学的国际政治经济学，需要一篇额外的essay，需要阐述该领域的理解认知等等。
第二类是传媒类专业
部分传媒类专业需要提交作品或者作品集，这类可以整理自己之前发表过的稿件、拍摄作品、设计作品等，上传至网站或网页；整理一个作品list.
第三类是设计类专业
包括建筑、交互以及服装设计等等，这类就需要准备正式的作品集，展示自己的设计理念及应用的专业技术了。

需要writing sample, 800-1000 words inTimes New Roman with fontsize 11, saved in one-page document in JPEG format.
艺术史
Master of Arts in the field of Art History
需要an academic or professional writing sample in English
建筑学
Master of Architecture
景观建筑学
Master of Landscape Architecture
必须提供作品集A4 landscape orientation in PDFformat; 20 pages; 30 MB file sizelimit, Including academic design work and professional work
新闻学
Master of Journalism
工作党需要 published articles / Links topersonal blogs or social mediasites, self-produced videos, podcasts, TV newsspots or digital news spots(please specify your role for co-produced pieces)不接受学校课程作品
创意写作
MFA Creative Writing in English
A sample of original creative writing in English of 10-12 pages of A4 paper, which may be a short story, a chapter in a novel, excerpts from memoir, or other creative genre.

英语文学研究硕士
MA in English (Literary Studies)
Applicants must submit:
1.a 500-word statement about their interests and goals related to postgraduate study in English literature, and
2.a short writing sample (1,000 – 1,500 words), preferably a scholarly essay written on a topic related to literature or the humanities. A creative writing sample is also acceptable
