外交关系、国际谈判、外交政策决策过程以及外交政策的实施是国际政治的重要特征。
我们的课程旨在介绍与外交和外交政策相关的理论、问题和过程。如果您正在考虑或目前从事外交、国际非政府组织或全球政策与政治工作，这个课程可能特别相关。
我们的目标是为您提供参与辩论和模拟谈判练习的机会。此前，我们还邀请具有该领域经验的从业者为课程做出贡献。在可能的情况下，我们还致力于包含与当年课程主题相关的旅行活动，例如，过去学生曾访问伦敦的外交与联邦事务部。提供旅行活动时，通常学生需要自行承担旅行费用。
该课程的高潮是撰写一篇20000字的论文，主题由您自行选择，并与学术导师共同商定。
